Milk science

 WALT:Learning Intention: Identify the chemical properties in soap and observe how it reacts in milk and understand why.

We first put the food colouring in the milk then put the dish liquid and watched it react .

I think it could be easyer if i would have done it before.

Poems

 WALT:  use interesting vocabulary and  correct language.

Surfing

 W.A.L.T : We had to create a piece of writing about a sport in the olympic Games.

First we made a plan on paper about the sport that we chose I chose surfing.

Reflection: I should have add a bit more infomation about the NZ surfers

 First we had to chose a New Zealand athlet then find info

           about them like find there sport or age.

Refletion: I think I shoul have added more infomation

Maui character traits

 W.A.L.T : Make TEXT TO TEXT connections about Maui’s character traits

We first found out some character traits and wrote them in our book . Then we did a google drawing of Maui once we were done we put it on a google slide and published the traits.

Reflection: I think I should do a better google drawing of maui. I did good on the character traits.

Instructional writing

 W.A.L.T : Use a planning template to structure an instructional text.

WE had to write how to make a step by step rocket, first on paper  to plan it then on google docs

Reflection: Next time I should add more detail into my work. I did good in planning it.

Te Reo Emotions

 W.A.L.T : Say how we felling in Te Reo Maori.

We had to use the emotions that you've learnt and writer some sentences with them.

 Reflection: I think I did well with answering the questions but next time I should change them up a bit.

Persuasive speeches

 W.A.L.T : Write a persuasive speech that encourages the listener to agree with my opinion.

So we had to choose a topic plan a speech on paper then go on Google Docs and write the proper speech.

Reflection: I liked how I had 3 reflection paragraphs.

next time I should add more adjectives.

Persuasive Sentences

Walt:  Use prompts to construct sentences to persuade my audience to agree with my opinion.

We first chose a topic then wrote a sentence about it on google docs.

Reflection: Next time I should add more detail about the sentences.

Tōku whanau

W.A.L.T: Introduce our family in Te Reo.

WE have been learning online to Introduce our family in Te Reo using seesaw.

Reflection:  Next time I should  add myself and and make the writing bigger.  

Whakapapa sides

 W.A.L.T: ask our whanau all about my whakapapa, use the information to complete them template.

We had to go onto google maps and search for our places on our Whakapapa paper.

Reflection: It was easy to find the pictures. It was hard to see if it was the right place

Prototec Maths result

 W.A.L.T :Know our basic facts off by heart and identify which problems you are having trouble with. 

We are learning to do our basic on a site called prototec 

Reflection: I am good at my 3s, 2s, 5s, 10s. I am still learni my 4s and 6s.

Vocabulary

 WALT -  build vocabulary knowledge by reading a range of poems.

We had to find and gather information from reading fantastic poems and then putting them into nouns, adjectives and verbs.

Reflection: It was easy to find out where to put the words,and what kind of word.

Tuatara Acrostic Poem

 W.A.L.T: Read to gather information and write to share key facts.

First we read and watched to gather facts for our acrostic poem. Then we found a picture of a

Tuatara and traced it.

Refection: I found it easy to do the facts. And it was hard to trace

the body because if you go too close it  will stop and won't work.  

The Treaty of Waitangi

 WALT: Read to find the Information and locate significant towns and cities within the New Zealand map.

We read about the Treaty of Waitangi and answered the questions.   

Refection: It was fun and  to do the questions, finding the places on the map was easy. Next time I should add more writing.

All about me!

 WALT:  Create a quality blog post that reflects a snapshot of yourself, goals and achievements.

We made a template on Google Drawings to create a all about me poster.

Reflection: I made a customised back round with cool colours. I Used remove bg to get rid  of my background. I think next time I should have made it more colourful.
